Debenhams Launch Distasteful Divorce Gift List - Tom Fazackerley

Debenhams have today launched a new service for separating couples with the ‘Divorce Gift List'.

The service seeks to provide separated couples with a list of ‘must have' items when parties divorce.

Recent statistics show that there is an ever increasing amount of couples divorcing with celebrities such as Hannah Waterman and Ricky Groves leading the way.

Any person currently involved in or considering divorce proceedings should seek legal advice from the outset as to divorce, financial and children matters.

Tom Fazackerley, Solicitor in the Family Department at Lees Solicitors LLP has branded the move as "distasteful". He says "Divorce for many people is often one of the most traumatic and stressful experiences a person may experience, particularly when children are involved.
