We are able to provide a comprehensive service to clients whose financial affairs need to be overseen by the Court of Protection (CoP).

Jane qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and was admitted to the partnership in 1998.  Jane acts as a professional deputy for many clients managing their financial affairs. She can also assist lay receivers in carrying out their duties acting on behalf of such a person.

Some clients are referred by specialist solicitors following catastrophic personal injury claims, whilst some are clients who through illness become unable to manage their own affairs and have not made provision whilst they are well for someone to do so for them.

Jane regularly visits clients across the North West and further afield. She is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and the Law Society's Probate section.

Our Court of Protection team work closely with the family of the client or their legal advisers to ensure that dealings with the Court of Protection are as smooth and efficient as possible.
