Team Profile

Jenniffer Skillen-Smith is head of our Family Law department and is based at our Birkenhead office. 

Jenniffer is a Legal Executive with over 12 years experience specialising in Family Law, with particular emphasis on:

• Divorce and Financial Issues,
• Civil Partnership Dissolution,
• Children Act cases, and Co-habitee Disputes.

Jenniffer also undertakes Public Law Children Act work. She is an Accredited Specialist member of Resolution - first for Family Law. The ethos of Resolution is to resolve family cases without conflict.

Tom Fisher is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's (SRA's) Family Law panel and Resolution (formerly Solicitors Family Law Association), and has now qualified as Collaborative Lawyer.

Tom has recently been elected as a public governor at the Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology NHS Trust.

Our team of qualified solicitors and legal executives have considerable knowledge gained through experience and a variety of memberships including the Family Law Panel, and Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association.  Our Family Law team work hard to resolve conflicts for clients according to the ethos of Resolution and only involve the courts if this was the most effective and appropriate way forward for our client.

Our Family Law team advise at all three of our offices, with a professional, friendly and personal service tailored to meet your individual needs.  Our team specialises in complex and high net worth cases and has been involved in a number of high profile cases.
